bundler: command not found: rails

added on :: 29 October 2014

This is how I rails c in production

cd /var/www/iamfreesite/current && /usr/local/bin/bundle exec rails c production

if you get an error like bellow when you see the bundle file in the /usr/local/bin directory

bundler: command not found: rails

It is highly likely error is due to logged in permission issues or lack of permission

solution is

sudo su

and then

cd /var/www/iamfreesite/current && /usr/local/bin/bundle exec rails c production
